situations along with great customer support - a combination that
can't be beat!
Clint Millett,
CET, MCSE, has
a very diverse technical background, having worked in the
instrumentation, communications, robotics, consumer and military
electronics industries throughout his career. He built his first analog
computer system around 1970, and his first digital one in 1977,
shortly after graduating as an Electronic Engineering
Technologist. He was
designing and manufacturing microprocessor-based products by the
early 80’s. He obtained
his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification in
1998.
His
RF experience covers frequencies from 60 KHz to 25 GHz, with most of
it between 3 and 500 MHz at RF power levels up to 200KW (Search
Radar) and ERP’s in excess of 1MW. Clint’s involvement in the
design and manufacture of state of the art communications and
instrumentation equipment, custom test equipment, robotics and
R&D began in 1980.
Clint
has worked in Siberia, Japan, Benin and the United
States.
Cyril
Johnson graduated from SAIT in Alberta with an
Electronic Technologist diploma in Broadcast Technology. He has been
involved in the communications field for the past 35 years.
His
career began with CN Telecommunications in the North West
Territories as a technician and then with AGT in the CTV Delay
Center. His experience continued with the University of Calgary,
Department of Communications Media where he was involved with all
aspects of Audio Visual and Television equipment service and repair,
the installation of closed circuit television systems, a television
studio, RF distribution system for the campus as well as numerous
other projects and other types of equipment.
In
the early 1980’s he became involved with the development of
telephone and communications equipment primarily for use in
hazardous areas. Cyril was part of a highly qualified team involved
in the design and development of communications systems meeting some
of the most unusual requirements for systems around the world - on
offshore drilling platforms, for grain elevators in Algeria and at a
silicon wafer manufacturing plant in Taiwan, to name a
few.
From
2000 until 2003, Cyril contracted to a private company providing
satellite communications for the Canadian Military Peacekeepers in
Bosnia Herzegovina.
