The first TWIN was a solution to a customer's request for a simple method to interconnect a two-way radio and G3 Fax machine.  This device took the oil patch by storm.  There were several revisions of the design until a universal fax and computer interface was achieved.  Although the immediate need for this product has passed in North America, marine and remote locations can still use this product effectively.  It has a proven track record working with SSB and FM radios.
